The Gregory

On April 17th, I recieved both watches pretty promptly (Order #17942)! The look and the style of craftmanship was impressive the moment I touched and felt the weight of both instruments! I was informed bythe AFWM Rep. that The Chadwick is a mechanically self-winding watch that uses energy from the activity of my wrist. I was very impressed when I learned about that feature. Unfortunately, The Chadwick and The Gregory were both disappointments. After trying them on, the second hand on The Chadwick had visual movement all on its own. It moves independently, indicating a defect in its assembly to some degree. I spoke with AFWM Rep. Kennesha, who has promised me an immediate replacement along with a replacement of The Gregory watch as well, that simply does not operate at all. I was told that The Gregory probably just needed a battery replacement (SR920sw). I was given the option to pay for the battery replacement (up to $15.00) and get a refund or return it to AFWM and a replacement watch would be issued as well. Kennesha also informed me that the owner of AFWM offered to meet with me on Tuesday, Apr. 22nd if I wanted to personally bring both units in. It was a nice jester but wasnt feesible to my schedule. Instead, I was assured by the AFWM Rep. that she will placed the order for replacements shortly. On the same day, April 21st, in the afternoon, I recieved an email that my new order (#LW17952) was in the process of being replaced and that I would recieve a notice at a later date when it will be scheduled for shipment. As of today, April 23, 2025, I have not recieved a notice from AFWM or UPS that a shipment has been scheduled to my mailing address. I would appreciate it if I could recieve confirmation that replacement watches are on the way or a total refund to my credit card. Thank you! The Gregory was a birthday gift to myself. Perfect time piece for all occasions.

I bought The Gregory as a milestone anniversary gift for my husband. (Watches are the modern 15th wedding anniversary gift. You could also go with one of these as a traditional 5th anniversary gift, which is wood.) He loves it and is wearing it frequently. He now has his eye on The Malcolm.) It was great to be able to add an inscription on the back to commemorate the day. Customer service was excellent and responsive. I received a link to track my shipment, which arrived on time.
